About SmaftyTools

SmaftyTools is a collection of 133+ free online utilities for developers, writers, students and anyone who needs to get a quick job done — formatting JSON, converting units, generating passwords, resizing images and much more.

Every tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type, paste or upload is ever sent to our servers, because we don't have any servers processing your data — the site is a static bundle served from a global CDN. That makes the tools fast, private and available even on flaky connections.

There are no accounts, no signups, no usage limits and no paywalls. The site is supported by unobtrusive advertising, which keeps every tool free for everyone.

How we build the tools

Each utility is written by hand and kept intentionally focused: one tool, one job, done well. We verify results against known reference values (for example, unit conversions, date math and hash output), and we ship improvements continuously — new tools are added and existing ones refined on a regular cadence.

A note on privacy

Because processing happens on your device, there is nothing to collect: no accounts, no uploads, no history of what you paste or convert. This is a deliberate design decision, not a feature we added later. You can read the full details in our privacy policy.
