Alarm Clock & Countdown to Date

This tool combines two related time-tracking needs in one place: a browser-based Alarm Clock that rings at a specific time of day, and a Countdown to Date that counts down to any future date and time — both with a sound and an optional browser notification when the moment arrives. Switch between the Alarm and Countdown tabs depending on which you need. It works as an online alarm clock when you want to set an alarm online for a specific time, and as a countdown timer to event when you're tracking a fixed future moment.

The Alarm tab shows a live clock and checks it every second against the time you've set; when they match, it plays a tone and (with permission) shows a notification, then waits for you to dismiss it. The Countdown tab instead takes any future date and time and continuously breaks down the remaining gap into days, hours, minutes and seconds, updating live — useful for tracking anything from a deadline a few hours away to an event weeks or months out.

Typical uses split naturally between the two: the Alarm tab works well as a simple wake-up or reminder alarm, a cooking or laundry timer set for a specific clock time rather than a duration, or a nudge to leave for an appointment. The Countdown tab is better suited to tracking a launch date, a deadline, a birthday, a vacation, or any other fixed future moment where you want to watch the remaining time tick down rather than just see a static date.

Both features depend on the tab staying open in your browser — since there's no background server involved, closing the tab stops the alarm or countdown from being able to notify you. Nothing about your alarm time or target date is sent anywhere; everything runs locally in your browser for as long as the page stays open.
