About World Clock
The World Clock shows the live current time — down to the second — for as many world cities as you like, side by side on one screen. Add New York, London, Tokyo, Kolkata or any of 40+ major cities from the dropdown, and each one appears as its own card showing local time, day, date and current UTC offset, all updating in real time as you watch.
It's built for anyone who regularly deals with people, meetings or systems in another time zone. Remote teams use it to see at a glance whether it's still morning for a colleague in Sydney; customer-support and on-call teams use it to track shift handoffs across regions; travelers use it to check time zones now for their upcoming stops before booking flights or calling a hotel; families with relatives abroad use it to know when it's polite to call; and content creators scheduling a live stream or webinar use it to line up a start time that works across several audiences at once. Searching for the current time in London or Mumbai becomes a permanent, always-on dashboard instead of a one-off search every time.
Every clock is computed live using each city's time zone data, so the displayed UTC offset automatically reflects daylight saving time — a city that's UTC−5 in winter and UTC−4 in summer shows the correct offset for whichever one currently applies, with no manual adjustment needed. Your chosen list of cities is saved to your browser's local storage, so it's waiting for you exactly as you left it on your next visit, without requiring an account or login.
Because that list lives in local storage rather than a server-side account, it's specific to the device and browser you're using — there's no cross-device sync, which is a deliberate privacy trade-off: no city list, location data or usage pattern is ever transmitted or stored on our servers. If you need to convert a specific time between two zones rather than watch live clocks tick, the Time Zone Converter tool is a better fit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does a city's UTC offset change during the year?
Many regions observe daylight saving time, shifting their clocks (and UTC offset) by an hour for part of the year. The world clock always shows the offset currently in effect.
Are my selected cities synced across devices?
No — the list is stored in your browser's local storage for privacy, so each device keeps its own list. Nothing is sent to a server.
Can I check the time in London without adding it permanently?
Yes — add any city to see its live time immediately, then remove it with the × button afterward. A temporary lookup isn't kept anywhere unless you leave the city in your list.
Is the World Clock free?
Yes, the World Clock is completely free with no usage limits. No signup, no account and no installation required.
Does the World Clock work on mobile?
Yes. The World Clock is fully responsive and works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and desktops.
