Delete & Reorder PDF Pages

Drag to reorder pages or delete the ones you don't need, with a thumbnail preview of every page. Free PDF page organizer, runs locally.

About Delete & Reorder PDF Pages

The Delete & Reorder PDF Pages tool shows every page of a PDF as a thumbnail so you can drag pages into a new order, remove the ones you don't need, and download the result — all without opening desktop editing software. It's built for the common cleanup task of trimming a blank scanned page, dropping a duplicate, or moving an appendix to the back before sending a document out. Whether you want to delete PDF pages you don't need or remove a pdf page that's a stray scan, the visual thumbnail grid makes it obvious what you're keeping before you save — and the one-click remove pdf page workflow makes cleanup take seconds.

Every page renders as a small preview image using pdfjs-dist directly in your browser, so you can see the actual content — not just a page number — before deciding to keep, remove or reposition it. Dragging a thumbnail moves it to a new position in the final document; clicking the trash icon removes it from the output (with an undo available for the most recently removed page, in case of a slip of the mouse). Nothing is finalized until you click save.

Behind the scenes, the tool tracks each thumbnail's original page index even as you reorder them, then rebuilds the PDF from scratch by copying only the pages you kept, in your chosen order, using the pdf-lib library. Because this runs locally, there's no upload step and no limit on how many times you can rearrange things before you're happy with the result.

How to Use the Delete & Reorder PDF Pages

  1. Choose a PDF file — thumbnails of every page render automatically.
  2. Drag pages into the order you want them to appear in the final document.
  3. Click the trash icon on any page to remove it (use "Restore last removed page" if you change your mind).
  4. Click "Save & download PDF" once the order and selection look right.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I undo a page deletion?

Yes, but only for the most recently removed page — click "Restore last removed page" to bring it back into the grid at its original position in the sort order.

What happens if I remove every page?

The tool requires at least one page to remain before you can save, since a zero-page PDF isn't a valid document.

Does reordering pages affect bookmarks or the table of contents?

Page content and images move with the page, but any internal navigation like bookmarks or a table of contents from the original file may no longer point to the right page after reordering, since those aren't automatically updated.

Is the PDF page organizer free?

Yes, the PDF page organizer is completely free with no usage limits. No signup, no account and no installation required.

Is my data safe?

Yes. All processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript — nothing you type is uploaded or stored on our servers.
