These are the same fundamental adjustments found in most photo editing apps, made available here without installing anything: grayscale strips all color for a black-and-white look, sepia adds a warm brown tone reminiscent of old photographs, brightness and contrast control overall tonal range, saturation intensifies or mutes color vibrancy, and blur softens fine detail. Combined, they cover most of the quick stylistic edits people reach for before sharing a casual photo — no professional editing software required.

The live preview is powered by CSS filters applied directly to the on-screen image, which is instant and costs nothing in processing time, so you can drag a slider and see the effect immediately rather than waiting for a re-render. Only when you click Apply does the tool bake those same filter values into the actual pixel data via an HTML5 canvas, producing the final downloadable file — this two-stage approach keeps the editing experience fluid even on large photos.

Everything runs locally: the preview, the presets, and the final canvas render never send your photo anywhere.
